40th anniversary of the July 16, 1969 launch of Apollo 11 (via Remembering Apollo 11 – The Big Picture – Boston.com) – really looks like outtakes of 2001: A Space Odyssey… Nasa were right to pick Kubrick as director when they staged it 🙂
